The project is on an 8.6-acre site at the southwest corner of Los Nietos Road and Norwalk Blvd. in the 50-acre Southern Pacific Land Co. Industrial Park.

Completion is scheduled for next February on the tilt-up concrete building designed by architect Tomislav Gabric. Oltmans Construction Co. of Monterey Park is the builder. George Schumacher of Penta Pacific Properties, as well as Jay Wethe and Dick Burr of the firm's Santa Fe Springs office, represented both lessee and lessor in the build to suit project System Being Installed A nationwide system of mini-computers is being installed at a cost of about $1 million in all of the 42 branch offices of the Continental Insurance Companies. Syska Hennessy, a mechanical and electrical firm, and Gensler and Associates, an architectural and interior design firm, both of Century City, served as consultants on the installations.

The mini-computers will link the branch offices with the firm's main computer in Neptune, N.J., and by automating almost all policy writing, the new system is expected to reduce service time by more than 50 while using the same number of personnel. Complete operation is scheduled for early 1980.
