Official Speaks Mrs. Douglas Tomkies, of Hunt- lugton, was speaker at-a monthly meeting of the Keyser Branch of the American Association of University Women at Mott's Green Gables a recent Mrs. Tomkies, state president of the organization, was introduced by Miss Nancy Belle Kemphfer, president of the local branch. Speaking of the work of the A.A.U.W..

Mrs. Tomkies pave a review of the accomplishments of the 19 branches of the organization's 1500 members throughout the state and outlined the program which'Is to be carried out at the state convention to be held at Jackson Mills on May 7, and a. Concert Scheduled Friday The first of a series of three concerts to be held In Keyscr, sponsored by the Kcyser Community Concert Association, will be presented Friday night In the Kcyser High School auditorium by Rosario. Antonio and Company, sensational Spanish dancers with guitarist and pianist. These artists cnme to this country in 1944 from Spain and have proved very popular in concert organizations throughout the country. C. Myers, a Baltimore and Ohio Railroad boilermalccr, suffered a severe heart attack Thursday morning. Franklin Wiles, a fireman on the B. O. Railroad fell from Ills engine while at work near Terra Alta and suffered injuries lo both arms and his left foot and leg.
