Mr. Blome became president of -the firm when his brother retired in 1928 because of ill health. He gave the shop to his employees when he retired five years ago, at age 95, after his doctor advised him to "slow down." Mr. Blome was active in several North Side charities, including the old St. Luke's Fashion show, and prepared elaborate floral decorations for society debuts and weddings.

He has no immediate survivors. SERVICES FOR Arthur Blome, MM), florist for Chicago's Gold Coast since the turn of the century, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the chapel at 203 S. Marion Oak Park. Mr.

Blome, who had lived for the last 40 years in River Forest, died Wednesday in West Suburban Hospital, Oak He and his late brother, Paul, who were born in Lake View, founded Paul Blome florists, at 1361 N. Clark in 1903. The shop was moved to 1542 N. Clark when Carl Sandburg Village was Anthony P. DurKIn, ret.

Veronica Kopp Veronica Kopp, a retired nurse for St. Francis Hospital, Evanston, died Thursday in Columbus Hospital, where she began her nursing career many years ago.

Mrs. Kopp, an Evanston resident, spent most of her nursing career in St. Francis and Chicago's Bethesda Hospital. She is survived by a son, Charles; a daughter, Barbara Anne; and a brother. Mass will be at 11 a.m.

Rabbi Tarshish died Wednesday in his home in Charleston. He was rabbi of Temple Jeremiah from 1961 to 1975, when he retired and moved to Charleston.

McGovern Mass for Terence J. McGovern, 32, a policeman assigned to the Foster Avenue District, will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Thecla Catholic Church, Devon and Oak Park Avenues. McGovern, who recently had lived in Norwood Park, died Tuesday in Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge.

He had been with the police department since 1971. He is survived by his wife, Teresa; his mother, Eileen; four brothers; and four sisters. Brother Donald Garrigan Mass for Brother Donald Garrigan, OFM, 64, administrator of Mayslake Village Retirement Home, Oak Brook, will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel of the retirement home, 1801 35th St. Brother Garrigan died Tuesday in Hinsdale Hospital, Hinsdale.

He was administrator of the Franciscan-operated retirement community for the last 12 years. He was regional director of the elderly housing loan program for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development from about 1961 to 1971. He is survived by a sister. Leslie A.

Mr. Temple, an Oak Park resident, died Wednesday in. Oak Park Hospital, in the suburb. From 1966 to 1973, he owned Temple News Agency, in Oak Park. He is survived by his wife, Mercedes; two sons, Leslie Jr.
