(Photo by Keith Swinden) Little League Corner We're happy lo lei you know the "new" Chase Field Is ready for action.

It has been brightly painted, cleaned and completely redone, including the new infield complete with pitcher's mound, We're proud of the way Chase Field looks and to all the parents who come out for the games, we ask that you please help to keep the area clean and free of litter and debris. A lot of time and hard labor went into this project and our thanks and appreciation to all the people and merchants who contributed fencing, paint, lumber, dirt, sand and all the other materials we needed to get Chase Field looking great. Our only regret is that we did not get enough help from members of our league. It was always le same few people doing the work. With all the parents in this league, we should have received a lot more cooperation.

We gave of oar time and energy and made sacrifices. We did this to benefit the kids who use this field lo give them a baseball area they can be proud to play on. Next time we ash the parents of our league to assist in a project, let's all try to cooperate and give of ourselves. Parents are reminded to please turn in registration money before May 15, Raffle tickets will be distributed soon and we are asking everyone's cooperation in selling as many as possible. All proceeds will go towards our First Annual Trophy Awards banquet to be held in August at Ferrara Manor.
