JAMES LUDVIK Photo by Conrad's When Pamela Ann Kammer and James Kenneth Ludvik, son of James and Marilyn Ludvik of Oak Park, were married Jan. 17, the bridegroom's attendants drew as much attention as the bridesmaids. They wore outfits with swallow tail coats, ascots, top hats and walking canes in a setting of grandeur giving the dash and romance of a nobler age.

The maids graced the scene wearing flame red velvet frocks etched in ivory Cluny enhancing the picture. The bride, daughter of Ann Kammer of St. Louis, was given in marriage by her father, John Kammer of Oak Park at the 5 p.m. mass celebrated by the Rev. Thomas Vitro in St.

Giles church, Oak Park. Marilyn Young was a guitarist offering "The Twelvth of Never" at the service and the bride's brothers, Tommy, Danny and Patrick were altar boys. Pam wore a simply elegant gown fashioned in off white peau d'soie. Imported lace patterned the empire bodice and bordered the hemline of the graceful skirt ending in a chapel train. Chantilly ruffled and framed her bonnet headpiece styled with rib- boned streamers and a three tier elbow veil by Tina Dee Creations.

Maid of honor was Terri Kammer. Cathy Brunner, a cousin, and Sherre Ludvik of Oak Park were bridesmaids. Five year old Amy Domrose, cousin of the bridegroom from Belvedere, walked as flower girl. As her "something old," Pam wore a keepsake bracelet belonging to her mother and more nostalgia was evident as five year old Mark Hosty approached the altar for the ceremony wearing black velvet shorts worn by his uncle Tom Fleming 40 years ago when the Bishop visited Fleming's parish. As ringbearer, Mark carried a SB Laura Grusecki, committee member for Providentia's 19th annual benefit "Gathering of the Green" applies final pastel coating on piglet centerpiece in preparation for the Sunday, March 16 event at the Hyatt Regency Chicago hotel beginning with a cocktail reception at noon.

Ceramic centerpieces designed and decorated in a juvenile motif will highlight the setting. Local officers and board members working diligently in preparation for the affair include: Mrs. Frank R. Stone. Auxiliary president; Mrs.

Robert G. Schiewe, benefit chairman; Mrs. Ronald McGarry, benefit cochairman and Mrs. Michael E. McDonnell, treasurer, all of River Forest.

Other Oak Park and River Forest board members assisting with arrangements are: Mrs. Michael R. Benson, River Forest; Mrs. Edward J. Bvrne.

River Forest; Mrs. Harrv Clow, Oak Park; Mrs. John Cusak, River Forest and Mrs. John A. Gall, River Forest.

Also assisting will be Mrs. James P. Grusecki, River Forest; Mrs. Thomas Kenny, Oak Park; Mrs. Paul H.

Peyreburne, River Forest; Mrs. Michael E. Winter and Mrs. Ralph B. Weyburn, both of Oak Park.

Mrs. Robert Schiewe of River Forest is party chairman and will accept reservation inquiries at 771-8484. Fashionable "Everything's Coming Up Roses" will be presented at the Regency ballroom of the Hyatt Regency Chicago on March 15 when the Federation will hold its 24th annual benefit luncheon and fashion show. The 12:30 p.m. show and luncheon will be preceded by a cocktail reception with entertainment in the ballrocm foyer, starting at 11 a.m.

Contemporary fashions for the afternoon show will be from Chas. A. Stevens' Designers' collection. Mary S. is general chairwoman of the Proceeds EWSPAPERfl I will be used to further the work of the Mary Ward Apostolic Study center in Wheaton, The center is conducted by the Ladies of Loretto, a religious order teaching in Chicago and suburban areas.

Another special guest was grandma Evelyn Domrose of Oak Park. Sending best wishes but unable to attend was grandma Anne Fleming of Alton, 111. The bride, a graduate of Trinity High school, River Forest, is a nursing student and is employed part-time at Loyola Medical hospital, Maywood. The bridegroom attends Triton college, River Grove and is employed in Oak Park. The new Mr.

and Mrs. Ludvik are at home in Forest Park after a honeymoon at Pheasant Run. Plan summer wedding for Markuszewski The engagement of Monica Mar- kuszewski to Anthony Louis Paolelli, son of Mr. and Mrs. Loreto Paolelli of Chicago is announced by the parents of the bride-to-be, Mr.

and Mrs. H. Markuszewski of our area. Miss Markuszewski, a student nurse at Mayfair college, is enrolled in the health career program at Triton college, River Grove, working toward her degree in nursing. Monica formerly worked for the World publications, Oak Park, in the classified ad department.

She is now employed by Atol's Tool Mold corporation, Schiller Park. A summer wedding is planned. MONICA MARKUSZEWSKI '40 's dance blends past and present "Back to the Forties" is the theme of the annual dinner dance planned by the Holy Cross High school Ladies Guild to be held Saturday, March at the school beginning at 7 p.m. Chairmen for the event are Mrs. Theresa Peppi and Mrs.

Jean Jones The -evening will begin with cocktails at 7 p.m. followed by dinner at 8 p.m. Dancing will follow in the mood of the forties. Table chairmen for the event are: Jo Carlini, Mel Hettinger, Rita Zito, Terry Paterno, Pat McKay, Dorothy Feltz, Rena Santacaterina, Jean Meade, Ann Ignatius and Lillian Repala. 1, weighed six pounds, ounces and is named Tory Renee. Her three sisters are Kim, seven; Carrie, four; and Heidi, three Grandparents of the newborn are Mr. and Mrs. R. Totzke of Oak Park and Mr.

and Mrs. D. Schmidt of the same suburb. Gma Ann Sweeney is a newcomer to River Grove, brought into the world Jan. 25 at Resurrection hospital with the help of parents Mr.

and Mrs. Michael Sweeney of the suburb. The cherub weighed seven pounds, seven ounces at birth. The look of a sophisticate is evident as Helen Costopoulous, TAPA mother stops to browse wearing the latest in spring fashions from Park Circle at Gilmore's. The outfit, by Young Viewpoint, is a leopard print dress and jacket of nylon, topped by a black jersey turban buckled in "tortoise." A black classic handbag and wide "tortoise" cuff bracelet accessorizes the ensemble, to be shown at the March 19 "Shower of Fashions" in the Elmwood Park High school auditorium.

Nancy Gantt, student at Elmwood Park High school and Delores Monaco, TAPA member are shown with their best foot forward wearing fashions with a flair from the better dress and suit department and junior sportswear section at Gilmore's. Delores' ensemble is a three-piece black and white dotted jacket with a bright yellow overblouse belted in black patent, and black pants. The Domani-styled outfit is lopped by a large black hat, the latest in Spring selections. A gauze-like muted blouse worn under a coordinated sleeveless sweater with an art motif is shown over sea-green pants of polyester and cotton, a popular casual set to be modeled by Nancy. Fashions to reign at TAPA 'Shower 9 Plans have been completed for the spring style show which benefits TAPA's (Teachers and Parents association) scholarship fund.

Last year, scholarships and workshop grants were awarded totaling over $1300. All profits are used to help Elmwood Park students further their educational goals. The theme is -TAPA's Shower of Fashions by Gilmore's. It will be held March 19 at 8 p.m. in the EPHS auditorium.

A donation of $2 is requested. Coffee and dessert will be served after the show in the cafeteria. The planning committee is composed of Jean Walker, general chairman; Ann Lodestro, Lucille Kasprak, Darlene Lira, Phyllis Schulze, Ruth Schulze, Odelia Pasquini, Rose Parisi, and Delores Monaco. Coffee-dessert chairman is Frances Loro. Jean Bulirtski is serving as ticket chairman, assisted by Lucille Kasprak, Jean Walker and Bertha Diamant.

Model coordinator is Phyllis Schulze. Models will be Raymond Libner, principal; Thomas Rose, counselor; Andrea Lodestro and Pasquini, pre-school; Gloria Murawska, TAPA president; Mrs. Roeh- ri, teacher; Nancy Gantt, Lauri Paoletti and Laurie Nuzzo, high school students; Helen Costopolous, Delores Monaco and Darlene Lira, mothers. Music will be furnished by Judy Greenwell at the piano. The commentator will be Marjorie Liewald.

Gilmore's advertising coordinator, Audrey Brown, has provided suggestions. Posters have been prepared by Mary Piskorz, Betty Michalski, Mae Michalski, Mae Joswick, Myrtle Baker, and Martha Reynolds. Publicity is handled by Frances Meschler and Bea Roberts. An added attraction at the event will be the modeling of Tiger T-shirts by Lisa Marino, Annette Ekstrom, Sharon Rose, Sheila Rose, Candace Dunbar and Debra Hayes. NEWSPAPER!.
