This sort of thing may be wonderful TV, but, more importantly, it raises serious questions of propriety and Journalistic ethics. Doesn't a private citizen-no matter what distasteful acts he is alleged by a network to have done have the right of refusal when it comes to filming? Did NBC arrange for the interview under false pretenses? Does NBC have a right to keep its camera rolling when the interviewee asks for a halt? Does NBC have a right to hound a man with its camera as he runs away? One hopes that this cheap, frowzy display is merely an opening night ploy to draw in viewers and will not be repeated.

As it turns out, the agency operator is on probation for child molestation and is allegedly selling bare-breasted pictures of the young models to foreign girlie magazines. Perkins interviews the man in a friendly manner before the camera, then suddenly springs the evidence of his alleged dirty work.

The man squirms. "What's going on here?" he asks. "This isn't fair, is it?" He asks them to stop filming. They don't. He gets up from his desk, walks out the door and flees down the street with Hopalong Perkins and the camera in pursuit.
