After an autopsy, which found "hypoglycemia, etiology cause 'indetermined" as the cause of death, Mrs. O'Hara's body was cremated. MISS KURLE said she could not remember the death last October, but did recall Mrs.

Brown's death. "I alerted the hospital to the fact she was in vserious straits," she said. "I found her nearly unconscious around. 1:30 or 1:45 in the morning. I called my supervisor and the house physician and treated her according to the orders of the house physician." Miss Kurle left about 8:30 that morning, and Mrs.

The paper referred to the deaths as "unexplained." Downers Grove Police Chief Stanley Troyer confirmed he was investigating the death of the second woman, Mrs. Vivian Brown, who died Feb. 8.

Troyer said that death was due to an overdose of insulin and characterized it as "highly suspicious. "EUTHANASIA WAS certainly one of the prime thoughts at first," he said. "But there's no such thing as a mercy killing in this state. It's either homicide or it isn't."
