MISSING KRUPP ART TREASURES FOUND IN RUHR BONN, Oct. 20 (Reuters) A British official told reporters today that part of the $560,000 missing Krupp art collection has been discovered in the homes of six Germans in the Ruhr mining town of Essen. He declined to comment on the value or nature of the recovered treasurers. No decision has been made as to whether charges will be brought against the Germans. The missing works of art, Including Gobelin tapestries and paintings, are from the Essen home of the Krupp industrial family.

NEW YORK, Oct. 20 (fl1) Mrs. Catherine Chisholm Cushing, playwright and lyricist, died last night. Mrs. Cushing gained a national reputation in her writings for the stage after leaving the magazine field in which she was an editor of Harper's Bazaar.

Her comedy, "The Real Thing," was. produced in 191L Then came "Jerry," "Kitty Mac-kay," "Lassie," "Pollyana," and "Glorianna," a musical comedy for which Rudolf Friml did the music. She wrote the books for two other musical comedies "Mar- jolaine" and "Topsy and Eva" and wrote the plays, "The Master of the Inn" and "Edgar Allan Poe." Mrs. Cushing also wrote the lyrics for the song, "L'Amour, Toujours rAmour," for which Friml wrote the music. She composed the lyrics for several other popular songs, including "I Love You, Dear" and "When Brown Eyes Looked in Eyes of Blue." She was the widow of Henry Howard Cushing.

The first lie detector test, lasting almost two hours, was made by Inspector Albert E. Reidel of the Berkeley (Cal.) Police Department. The second was conducted by Streeter. Tests Inconclusive The District Attorney said both were inconclusive because of "adverse conditions." Streeter said the tests failed because Blair's attorney was in the room at the time. Streeter's statement was seconded by Dist.

Atty. Bertram Janes, who added: "At this time we do not have sufficient evidence to charge Blair with murder. Our investigation is continuing in all its aspects."
