1S03. Miss Fannie was sick one year; eight mouths of the time confined to her room. The cheerful resignation with which she bore her suffering, was wonderful for one so young. Her life, though short, leaves us sweet memories of her purity and kindness of heart. She left us in the beginning of a beautiful young womanhood, promising so much of growth and usefulness.

She was educated in the Washington public schools and at the time of her death was a member of the Senior Class. She was an earnest and thorough student, always kind and obliging, and much loved by her teachers aud schoolmates. Her greatest trial was to give up her studies. Death cut short her life-plans, ended her suffering, and brought her to other scenes and brighter skies to finish her so well begun career. The sympathies of the entire commuuity go out to the bereaved parents, sisters and brother of this lovely young girl.
