Women Los Angeles Cimes AUGUST 16, 1952-Part I 9 Tea Given at Home of Howard Hoons Jr. Mrs. Roy Thomas Honored on Visit From Summer Home at Harbor Island The Pasadena residence of the Howard Hoons Jr. was the setting for a delightful Hoon's mother, Mrs. Roy E.

Harbor Island, Newport, just come from her summer Sept. 1 for a month. The honoree's mother, Mrs. Carlton Seaver of Pomona, arrived with her daughter, Miss Mila Seaver. She was greeted by another daughter, Miss Marguerite Seaver of Hollywood, and granddaughters, Mrs.

Griffith Page and Mrs. Laing. The hostess' sons, 9-year-old Howard III and 3-year-old Thomas Christopher, were at the door to welcome their great grandmother and other guests. In Mrs. Kenyon's opinion, "the most important contribution every woman can make to the campaign is right in her own precinct, whether she is chairman or just an enthusiastic talker for the change that must take place in November." She now is president of the Republican Women's Club there. "We women are so convinced that our cause is right in demanding a housecleaning in Washington, and that there be an end to Socialistic trends in legislation, that we'll leave no doorbell unrung in our campaign to get out the vote," Mrs. Kenyon concluded.
