Sizes 8 to 16, $100 Sherwyn Knits Rites Set for W. I. Gilbert Trial Attorney Memorial services for William I. Gilbert well-known trial attorney and former president of the Loa Angeles County Bar will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Church of the Recessional, Forest Lawn Memorial-Park Glendale.

Mr. Gilbert, 66, a native of Duncan, died Saturday at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the senior partner in the Los Angeles law firm of Gilbert, Kelly, Crowley and Jennett. After moving to Los Angeles in his teens, Mr. Gilbert attended Los Angeles High School, received his law degree from Stanford In 1931 and went into practice with his father.

During World War II, he served as a lieutenant of naval intelligence in the Aleutian Islands. He was president of the Los Angeles County Bar Assn. in 1953-54, and was a member of the Wilshire Country Club and Jonathan Club. Mr. Gilbert is survived by three daughters, Mrs.

Sheridan Beebe, Mrs. Kristin Keyes and Mrs. Linda McGuinn. J. de Marbois; Defense Expert Exclusive to TIM Tlmu from Rtuttri TORONTO Commodore John (Jock) de Marbois, 84, one of the chief architects of rine warfare off the North American Coast during World War II, will be buried here today.

Mr. de Marbois was killed last Thursday when struck by a car while crossing a street in nearby Mississauga during a heavy rainstorm. A son of the governor-general of Mauritius, he served in the British Navy during World War I. He vas severely wounded and upon recovery was assigned to St. Petersburg (now Leningrad) as the British naval attache.

There he met and married the Countess Tatiana Vis-kavankoff, whose father was the head of Czar Nicholas' horse guards. When the Russian revolution broke out, he and his wife escaped by dog-sled to Murmansk where they boarded a coal ship for Scotland. They arrived in Canada in the 1920s. In World War II, he served in the Canadian Navy. One of his chief tasks was planning theories fo protecting shipping near North America.

Neville Goddard; Religious Topics Author-Speaker Memorial services are being planned in Barbados for Neville Goddard, West Indian-born author-lecturer on religious subjects who had lived in the Los Angeles area for nearly 20 years. Mr. Goddard, 67, collapsed and died of an apparent heart attack in his West Hollywood home Sunday. There will be no funeral services here. He leaves his wife, Catherine, and a daughter, Victoria, both in West Hollywood, and a son, Joseph Neville Goddard, in New York.

In Barbados. Mr. Goddard is survived by seven brothers and one sister. Harrison McCall; Associate of Nixon Memorial services for Harrison McCall, who managed President Nixon's first two campaigns for Congress in 1946 and 1948, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Alhambra.

Mr. McCall died Sunday after a lengthy illness.
