Bell, 80, a former president and board chairman of American Security Trust Co. and undersecret4V ry of the treasury during World War II, will be held here Thursday.

He died at his home Sunday. Mr. Bell was appointed by President Harry Truman in 1946 to the price control board and in 1950 as chief of the financial survey mission of the Philippines with the rank of ambassador. He joined American Security Trust in 1946 as president. He had been in the Treasury Department 35 years, starting as a stenographer and Jewish Writer D.

Vendrovsky Succumbs at 94 Exclusive to The Times from Reuters MOSCOW Jewish writer David Vendrovsky, 94, who translated Mark Twain, John Steinbeck and JackLondon into Yid- dish, has died at the age of 94, the Soviet news agency Tass reported Tuesday. The date and place of his death were not disclosed. Mr. Vendrovsky, who used the pen name Z. Ven-drovr spent several years writing for Yiddish publications in Russia, Britain, the United States and' Argentina.

Goodwin J. Knight on the 19th District Agricultural Board and was on the advisory board of Security Pacific Bank for many years. His first wife, heiress Emma Grubb Wood, died in 1944.

Mr. Wood, who died Saturday at his Foothill Road residence, leaves his wife Ailene and a daughter, Miss Cynthia Wood of Santa Barbara, a niece and a nephew. Welch-Ryce Mortuary is in charge of Adrian Gordon Wood, rancher and philanthropist, died at his Santa Barbara home at the age of 89. It was reported Tuesday that in accordance with his request there will be no funeral services. Mr.

Wood was the donor of Ventura County beach property now known as the Emma Wood Beach State Park. In 1957, he founded Wood Glen Hall, a pilot residence for senior citizens in Santa Barbara. mi Immm Funeral services for veteran actress Edit Angold, 76, who died Monday at Memorial Hospital of Southern California, will be held at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Hollywood Memorial Park Cemetery. Born Edit Goldstandt in Berlin, Miss Angold made her first stage appearance there at 17. She came to the United States after World War I as a featured player in the popular German-language theater of New York. In the early 1930s, she attained star status in "Tomorrow The World," on Broadway, and came to Hollywood for the play's movie version.

She also appeared for seven years in the Mollie Goldberg radio series and in a movie based on the series. Miss Angold also appeared in several television productions and movies, including the remake of Smog Deaths, Funeral Announcements STUART, Margaret 5IrCann, former resident of Costa Mesa, beloved sister of Mrs. Mary Steinmetz, Mrs. Elizabeth Amestoy and Mrs. lerese Gutnne.
