Schoonfioven Is Bride MRS. LAVERNE FLACK Isf Methodist Is Scene Of Wedding Miss Judy Monte, daughter Mr. and Mrs. Robert Monte of Orangeville, and Timothy Curboy, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Kenneth Croffoot of Kent were married on Nov. 24 at 7:30 p.m. in First Methodist Church. The Rev. Webster Hobb performed the double-ring ceremony.

Nuptial music was provided by Mrs. Robert Smith, organist, and Mrs. Gene Jordan, soloist. James and Steven Monte lighted the tapers in the candelabra which, with pink and white mums, decorated the church. The bridal gown of peau de soie had a lace Empire bodice with a scalloped square neckline and long pointed sleeves.

A mock-pearl orange blossom crown secured the bride's veil and she carried a pink and white rose bouquet. Carries Mum Bouquet The matron of honor, Mrs. James Folgate, wore a powder rose dress and carried a pink and white mum bouquet. Monty Rogers was the best man, and Richard Temperly of Lena ushered. A reception was held in the Garden Room of Hotel Freeport from 8 to 10 p.m.

Pink and white motif was used in the decorations with silver appointments. Reception Follows Reception hosts were Mr. and Mrs. Gene Jordan and Mr. and Mrs.

Felix Dubey. Other assistants included Mmes. LeRoy Kip- pendorf, Jack Grigsby, Roger Heim and James Leverington and Miss Judy SmuII, Miss Betty Duitsman and Miss Pam Nuptial vows were exchanged by Miss Sylvia Flo Schoonhoven, daughter of the Raymond E. Schoonhovens, 1811 Valley View Drive, and LaVerne Dale Flack, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Lester Flack, Pearl City, on Dec. 8 at 8 o'clock in the evening. The double-ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Edgar G. Prasse of Elkhart, and the Rev.

Philip Anstedt, pastor of St. John United Church of Christ. The altar was decorated with a pair of seven-branched candelabra flanked by white pointsettia plants. Mrs. Derk Duthler was the organist, and accompanied Miss Estelle Hilton, the soloist.

Carries Orchids The bridal gown with train was of ivory peau d'ange in a slender A-line with Venice lace accent. The bride's matching lace mantilla was secured by a pillbox headpiece, and she carried a bouquet of green cymbidium orchids with holly. Serving in the bridal retinue were Miss Vicki Ochsner of Dakota as maid of honor, and Mrs. Gerald R. Schoonhoven, Mountain View, and Mrs.

Adrian Duszynski of Sauk City, as bridesmaids. Gowns of Persian green velveteen, with capelet sleeves and bateau necklines, were worn by the attendants. Their headpieces were of green Fuji petals on Persian green bands. Evergreen springs and green Fuji mums formed their bouquets. Receive Guests Lowell Thill of Chicago was the best man, and Daryl Babler of Dakota and Verio DeWall of Shannon were groomsmen.

Robert Curran of Nora and Wayne Runkle ushered. Guests were received in the Garden Room of Hotel Freeport after the ceremony. The receiving line formed in front of a flocked Christmas tree. A cherub holding an arrangement of holly and white roses centered the reception table. Dr.

and Mrs. Daniel H. Griffiths were reception host and hostess. Other assistants were Mmes. James Kuhlemeier, Randall Kuhlemeier, Robert Curran, Wayne Runkle and Ronald Prasse.

Misses Marquetta Chapman, Karen Niemeier, Betsy Brubaker and Pamela Griffiths also assisted. Serving In Air Force The new Mrs. Flack, a graduate of Freeport High School and the Milwaukee Accredited School of Beauty Culture at Madison, is employed by Dr. Daniel H. as a dental assistant.

She plans to joirt her husband, who has left for this assignment with the Air Force at New Camp Amsterdam Air Base, Soesterberg, The Netherlands, this early spring. He is a Pearl City High School graduate and also was graduated from the University of Wisconsin's Agriculture Short Course. The newlyweds traveled to Florida for their honeymoon. Red, White Poinsettias On Altar MRS. JOHN PETTICREW Janssen.

The newlyweds took a honeymoon trip to Chicago and are now living at 330 E. Empire St. Mr. and Mrs. Curboy are employed by Micro Switch.

He is a 1962 graduate of Pearl City High School and has completed a two-year apprenticeship at Micro. Mrs. Curboy graduated from Orangeville High School in 1964 and from La Molo School of Beauty Culture. Red and white poinsettias, backed with pine greens, decorated the altar of First Methodist Church for the wedding of Miss Cynthia Sue Jones and John Wesley Petticrew. The couple, whose parents are Mr.

and Mrs. Elwyn Jones of 512 W. Avon St. and the John W. Petticrews of 854 W.

Hamilton exchanged nuptial vows on Dec. 16 at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. The Rev. Webster Hobb performed the ceremony. Mrs.

Robert M. Smith was the organist and accompanied Mrs. Thomas Wingert the soloist. Carries Poinsettias The sheath bridal gown of peau de soie had an Empire bodice outlined in re-embroidered Alencon lace and a train edged with the same lace. The bride's headpiece was a pillbox, trimmed with matching lace and seed pearls, and secured her illusion veil.

She carried a cascade bouquet of white poinsettias, accented with holly and red berries. The maid of honor, Miss Pam Heck, and the bride's sister, Miss Judi Jones as bridesmaid, wore gowns of avocado green velvet. Each carried a single long-stemmed red poinsettia, tied with holly and red velvet streamers. They also wore a halo of holly in their hair. Attend Groom Sallie Jones, younger sister of the bride, was the flower girl, wearing an avocado green velvet gown.

The rings were carried by David Okey. Ernie Benecke was the best man and groomsman was Terry Johnson, who also, with Joel Spielman, seated the wedding guests. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Blask were hosts for the reception in Fellowship Hall.

Red and white carnations, pine and holly decorated the tables. Live In Chicago Other assistants included Misses Anita Curran, Nancy Stephens, Marilyn Green, Debbie Madison, Debbie Benecke, Sharon Aspinwall and Mrs. Jon King. The new Mrs. Petticrew is employed by Kemper Insurance in Chicago.

She is a 1966 graduate of Freeport High School and was a former employe of Micro Switch. Mr. Petticrew, a 1965 FHS graduate, is attending the University of Illinois, College of Pharmacy, in Chicago, where the newlyweds are living at Apt. 330, 4101 N. Sheridan Road.

LANDIS BARR Candlelight Ceremony Is Performed Miss Darlene Raye Derj 1 and Landis Lee Barr exchanged nuptial vows on Dec. 9 in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Lena before an altar decorated with evergreens and white candles. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. William Derr Jr.

of rural Lena and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Barr of Orangeville. The Rev. Allan E.

Juenger performed the double-ring candlelight ceremony, and Mrs. David Schultz played nuptial music at the organ. Lace Yoke The bride wore an A-line gown with a yoke overlaid with lace and bell-shaped sleeves tf lace. The pleated lace train was attached to the back yoke. She carried a white orchid surrounded with red Sweetheart roses on a white Bible.

A pearl crown headpiece secured her elbow-length veiling. Mrs. Elwyn Drye of Lena served her sister as matron of honor. Miss Susan Platt of Stockton and Miss Joan Hamel of Freeport were the bridesmaids, while Miss Patricia Ann Derr, another sister of the bride from Lena, was the junior bridesmaid. Wear Red Velvet The attendants wore Empire- styled gowns with, red velvet tops over white crepe bottoms, and they each carried red carnations on white muffs.

Their headpieces were white fur bands. Jan Fager was the best man, while groomsmen were Robert Wagons and David Daughenbaugh. Kurt Flannery was the junior groomsman. Elwyn Drye, Lynn Barr, Les Barr and Larry Barr ushered. Steve Stich and Scott Stich were the candlelighters.

A reception followed in the church parlors with decorations of Christmas greens as the centerpieces. Assist At Reception Assistants were Mmes.
