On successive nights last week Dal Tak Ha, Henry's Chinese cook and the cook's wife, marked the entry of the Year of the Rat in their own traditional way. The third night it was Henry's turn. He did it his way and it's not traditional. No dragons, no incense, no parades, no firecrackers. King- Bat But there was a lavish Chinese tyuffet prepared by the very same Dai and an initiation for all the guests into Berger's new rat pack.

Henry declared himself King Rat at least for the night. A man who has a very definite life-style, Henry followed it this night. But since it was the beginning of a new year according to the Chinese calendar, he threw in a few extras. Maurice Woodruff, the. clairvoyant and an old friend, was in town discussing television appearances, so he became the guest of honor.
