Coach Don Faurot's liberal substitutions policy resulted in seven Missouri backfield men each accounting for a touchdown, with placekicker Bob Dawson of Evanston, 111., taking care of five of the extra points. Kansas State's passing plays, which failed the Wildcats in the third quarter as they stood hammering at the Tigers' goal from only 15 yards out, paid off in the final period. And the Wildcats' heroics brought a sympathetic crowd to its feet as End Holhn Prather snatched a pass and fell over the goal line, only to be called back on a. teammate's penalty. Two plays later Bill Church's pass to Prather carried the ball to Missouri's 1-yard line and Harold Bryan plunged over.
