All events will take place at night, except the parade, which will be staged at 5 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Mrs, Jones will review the book "Windows for the Crown Prince." by Elizabeth Vining Gray. The book concerns Crown Prince Akihito, heir apparant lo the throne of Japan. The author is one of the Hvo American tutors who have taught the prince since 1046. The timeliness in the book review lies in the fact that Prince Akihito arrived in Washington, D. September and currently is touring the United States.

Ac- Cassville, Sept. Phillips, 71 years old, a long-time resident of this community and a retired farmer, died yesterday in a Huntinglon Beach. hospital. He had been making his home in Huntington Beach for the last several years, moving there from Cassville. Survivors include a brother, John Phillips of Cassvilie, and two sisters, Mrs.

Record Crowd of Fliers Expected Here ThN Morning IT Weather Conditions Permit. Final plans were completed last night fcr the i annual Joplin "Fly-In" breakfast to bo held this morning at the municipal airport.

Wallace Wilson, chairman of the Joplin Chamber of Commerce aviation committee and chairman of the event, said a record crowd should attend the "Fly-In" if the weather is favorable for flying. Last year approximately 273 planes carrying about 400 persons landed iiere for the breakfast and pro- tram. Wilson said. The annual event is sponsored by the'Chamber of Commerce and the Junior Chamber of Commerce. Members of the Jaycees will man the kitchen to be set up in the airport service hangar at the south edge of the airport to feed visiting fliers bacon and eggs, toast and coffee.

Postcards nnd advertising posters have been mailed to fliers and air fields within a 300-mile radius of Joplin to publicize the event. Attendance prizes will be awarded to many of. the pilots. A special program of a i ment has been planned for the "Fly-In." Included in the program will be exhibitions of model air plane flying, dance exhibitions and musical selections by Joe Becker's Harmonica Band. The program, which is open to the public, will end at noon today.
