442-1446 EASTHER MAE MEADOR Funeral for Mrs. Easther Mae Meador, 61 of Frisco, Texas will be Wednesday at 2 p.m, at the First Baptist Church of Ovalla. st She died Monday of injuries from an automobile accident near Denton. She was a former resident of Travis County and Elgin and was employed for a number of years at Capitol Laundry and Dry Cleaning in Austin. Only recently she had moved back to Texas from Downey, where she had lived for several years with her son, Ed Meador, of the Los Angeles Rams.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ovalla. Survivors include her husband, Euel E. Meador of Frisco; her mother, Mrs. W. L.

Crofton of Ovalla; two sons, Eddie D. Meador of Downey, and James E. Meador of San Marcos, where he is employed at Camp Gary Job Corps; two sisters, Mrs. Eunice Graham of Tuscola, Texas and Mrs. Jane Nichols of Sweetwater: and six grandchildren.

Burial will be in McBee Cemetery in Ovalla under the direction of Fry Funeral Home in Tuscola, Texas. MRS. SARAH RAMIREZ Mrs. Sarah Ramirez, 90, of 110 East Live Oak, died in a local hospital Tuesday. She had been a resident of Austin for most of her life.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Annie Torres of Austin; one son, Ollie Nanyes of Austin; 14 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren. The body will be at the Cook Funeral Home until 2:00 p.m. Thursday, when it will be taken to the Emmanuel United Methodist. Church and lie in state until funeral services.

Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Smithville. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lexie Netusil of Smithville; one son, William J. Netusil of Memphis, one sister, Mrs. Anna Janda who lives in Czechoslavakia and five grandchildren.

MRS. ANNIE HUEBEL SMITHVILLE Funeral for Mrs. Annie Huebel, 84, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Marrs Memorial Chapel, Pastor E. F.

Mrs. Huebel died Tuesday in a Smithville hospital, Survivors include four sons, Alfred Huebel of Smithville, Elo Huebel of Austin, Gilbert Huebel and Milton Huebel, both of Port Arthur; one daughter, Mrs. Thelma Heptner of Smithville; 18 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

MARVIN H. VETTER LLANO -Funeral for Senior Master Sgt. Marvin H. Vetter, 51, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Waldrop Funeral Home in Llano, Rev.

Oran Lewis and Rev. Clifford Edge officiating. Burial will be in the Llano Cemetery, Vetter died Monday at Dyess Air Force Base Hospital in Abilene. He was a member of the Lutie Watkins Memorial Methodist Church in Llano and the Masonic Lodge in Albuquerque, N.M. Among his military awards were the Bronze Star, the Vietnam Service Medal with two Bronze Stars and many others.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Loleat Vetter of Abilene; his mother, Mrs. A. R. Vetter of Llano; three sons, Lon Ed Nied of Williams AFB, Glen Nied of Dallas and Robert Vetter of Bergstrom AFB in Austin; one brother, Herman Vetter of San Antonio and three grandchildren, THOMAS DAVIDSON LOCKHART Funeral for Thomas Dee Davidson, 70, will be at 3 p.m.

Varena Blanche Armstrong, 79, died Tuesday in a Lockhart rest home. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Pennington Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. E. V.

(MAC) MCCOY BURNET M. E. (Mac) McCoy, 62, of Burnet died in a Burnet hospital Tuesday after an extended illness. Funeral arrangements are pending at Clements Funeral Home in Burnet. MRS.

FELIPA PONCE SAN MARCOS Funeral Mass for Mrs. Felipa Ponce, 49, will be celebrated Wednesday a at 2:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Martindale with Rev. Ben Goertz officiating.

Burial will be in the John F. Kennedy Cemetery with Los Angeles Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Ponce died Monday at her home in Martindale, Survivors include her husband, Jesus Ponce, two daughters, Consuelo Ponce and Esparanza Ponce; one son, Jesus Ponce three sisters, Mrs. Margarita Quintero of San Marcos, Mrs.

Carmen Carrizales of New Braunfels, and Mrs. Catarina Ramirez of Lubbock; and one brother, Gregorio Rodriquez of San Marcos. MRS. EMIL. CITZLER LaGRANGE Funeral services for Mrs.

Emil Citzier, 82, are set for 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John Lutheran Church in Rutersville with Rev. Walter Probst Jr. officiating.

Burial will be in the Rutersville Cemetery. Mrs. Citzler died Tuesday at a LaGrange nursing home. She was a lifelong resident of Fayette County and had lived in LaGrange for the past eight years. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs.

Barney Schultz and Mrs. Ted Harbers, both of LaGrange; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Rothmann of Port Arthur and Mrs. Laura Buscha and Mrs. Herman Buscha, both of LaGrange; three brothers, Louis Giese of Warda and Rudolph Giese and Willie Giese, both of LaGrange; grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Rites Set For Woman Fire Victim FREDERICKSBURG An elderly Fredericksburg woman burned to death in her home early Tuesday morning from a fire apparently ignited by an electric hot plate. Miss Rosa Weidenfeller, 79, was found dead in her home at 1:30 a.m. by members of the Fredericksburg Volunteer Fire Department who had been alerted to the fire by a night watchman. He had reported the smell of smoke in the area and a search led to the Weidenfeller home, where considerable fire damage had been done to the interior. Firemen said Miss Weidenfeller apparently had fallen on the hot plate, seriously burning her face.

The hot plate set fire to the kitchen table, then to the house. Miss Weidenfeller was born at Fredericksburg on Sept. 23, 1891, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Weidenfeller.

Funeral will be Wednesday: at 2:30 p.m. in Schaetter Funeral Chapel and the funeral Mass is to be read in St. Catholic Church at 2:45 p.m. burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

One sister, Mrs. Peter Schneidero, of Fredericksburg and numerous nieces and nephews survive. MRS. ALTA THOMPSON BASTROP Funeral for Mrs. Alta M.

Thompson, 94, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Troy Hickman officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Mrs.

Thompson died Tuesday in an Austin nursing home. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Henri Mae Hill of Austin, one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter. Services Set For Victims Of Accident Funeral services will be Wednesday for three persons killed Monday in a one-car accident near Temple. Killed in the crash, which occurred at Loop 363 and 57th St.

were Donald J. Hohle, 21, of Belton, his wife, Rita Hohle, 22, of Belton and Thomas Nicholson, 19, of Temple. The accident occurred when their car jumped a median barrier and smashed into a bridge railing on an overpass. Services for Mr. and Mrs.

Hohle will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Belton with Rev. M. D. Kilian and Rev.

Guinn Williams, officiating. Burial will be in the North Belton Cemetery directed by Harper-Talasek Funeral Home. Hohle was born in Temple and grew up in Bell County. He was employed by City Lumber Co. in Temple at the time of his death.

His survivors include his mother, Mrs. E. R. Hohle of Temple; two brothers, Clarence Hohle of Bellville and Wilbert Hohle of San Antonio and a sister, Mrs. Ervin Symm of Temple.

Mrs. Hohle attended school in Salado and was active in 4-H work. She was employed by Elko Camera Co. in Temple. Survivors include her parents, 7 of Salado.

Services for Nicholson will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Williams officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple. His survivors include his parents, Mr.

and Mrs. J. W. Nicholson of Temple; and two sisters, Mrs. R.

F. Francis) Dubec of Little River, and Miss Silvia Ann Nicholson of Temple. Services still are pending at Briggs-Gamel Funeral Home in Lampasas for John Wesley Hawkins, 23, a Fort Hood soldier killed near Temple Monday in a two-car accident that injured five others. Threatening Phone Call Investigated Police Tuesday were investigating a threatening telephone call received the manager of 3 local drive in restaurant from a man who claimed to be connected "with the Black Panther Party In Austin." Brian Waits, 23, manager of McDonald's at 7750 Burnet Road, said he was accused by the anonymous caller of racially discriminatory hiring practices. "We're going to get you all," the said in a soft, low voice about 7:30 p.m.

Monday. Waits said he told the man any Negro who qualified for a position at the restaurant would be hired on the same basis as any other applicant. When he asked the man's name, the caller used obscenities and hung up, he said. Investigators said they had no suspects in the case. Austin Schools Closing Friday Austin public schools students at all levels will not have classes Friday while teachers and other professional staff members participate in the second in-service workday of this school year, Superintendent of Schools Jack L.

Davidson explained that teachers will either be attending the professional meetings of the annual convention of District XIII of the Texas State Teachers Association. Or engaged in curriculum-related activities or parent-teacher conferences in their respective schools. The last "curriculum," or inservice training, day scheduled for this school year will be on Mar. 12, 1971. Funeral Set For Judge H.

J. Dewald COPPERAS COVE Funeral for Henry J. Dewald, 68, city judge of Copperas Cove for the past eight years, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Grace Methodist Church with Rev. Homer Pumphrey officiating.

Burial will be in Copperas Cove Cemetery unedr direction of Palmer Funeral Home. Dewald died Monday morning in a Temple hospital. He was a former member of the Copperas Cove city council; former chief of police; a member of Central Texas Peace Officers Association; former member of the board of stewards and board of trustees at Grace Methodist Church; was a member of Mount Hiram Masonic Lodge No. 595 A.F. A.M.

where he served as secretary for the past eight years; was past patron of the Lampasas Chapter No. 295, Order of the Eastern Star; and was charter patron of the Copperas Cove Chapter No. 1170, Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include two sons, Henry Dewald of Dallas and Fred Dewald of Copperas Cove; one daughter, Mrs. Louis (Margaret) Hanson of Fimi, two brothers, George Dewald of Amarillo and Wesley Dewald of Fort Worth; two sisters, Mrs.

Mary Beerwinkle and Mrs. Lena Beerwinkle, both of Moody; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Accoster Of 2 Coeds Eludes Law No arrests had been made late Tuesday in connection with two assaults on University of Texas coeds within a 15-minute period Monday night. A 17-year-old girl told police she was entering her car in the 2500 block of Longview St. about 7 p.m.

Monday when a man opened a door and got into the car with her. "I need a ride downtown," he told her, When she said she would not take him downtown, the man grabbed her cutting her lower lip and threatened to kill her, the victim told investigators. When the student started screaming, the man got out of the car and fled across a nearby parking lot, police said. Fifteen minutes later, police said, a man fitting the description of the assailant approached a 19-year-old girl in the 600 block of W. 24th St.

The second girl told the man grabbed her, then laughed when she screamed. After releasing her, he turned and sauntered away toward the University campus. The man was said to be a Mexican-American, 20-25 years old, 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall, of medium build, and wearing a green shirt and dark slacks, with a pencil-thin mustache and no accent. Income Tax Charge Filed Joseph A. Verdune, former operator of the Dixie Trading Post in Houston, has beet indicted in Austin on two counts of income tax violations.

A federal grand jury returned the indictment which charges that Verdune wilfully filed false income tax returns for the years 1965 and 1966.
