(ff) Enraged by her husband's avowals of love for his pretty blinde secretary, Mrs.

Etta Reisman, 35, shot and killed the gii- early today and was arrested on a charge of murder. The shooting occurred in the driveway of the Reisman home in the Beechhurst section of Queens while the husband, prosperous operator of a chain of beauty shops, and his 23-year-old daughter by a previous mir-riaee, looked on. Miss Virginia Seigh, 23, the secretary, who had lived with the couple for seven years, died almost immediately fro the effects of a bullet wound in the breast. Miss Reisman's stepdaughter, Annette, was wounded in the hand when she attempted to seize the weapon. As police reconstructed the affair, Arthur Risman.

42, informed hi wife yesterday that was in love with his secretary and would pay Mrs. Reisman $3 a week if she would give him a separation. Early this morning, he drove into the driveway but refused to leave his car. He had been drinking. His daughter and Miss Seigh, both clad in pajamas, went out and tried to persuade him to come in.

From an open window, Mrs. Reisman heard him mutter: "I love Virginia and Virginia loves me." Taking her husband's pistol from its holster near the bed, she went out and began shooting. One shot struck Miss Seigh. another wounded Annette, and three others went wild. Then she went back into the house -and sat down.

When police arrived, she was sobbing hysterically. Today's report on last week's sales gave these markets: Douglas, 921 92 92 92 92 25 25 By JOHN P. 14. JPh-A buying flurry on reports from Washington that an announcement ou the loan was imminent sent cotton futures up around $2 a bale from the lows today, but in the late trading half of the gains were lost and the market finished from 11 to 21 points higher. The market proved to be very sensitive to Washington pronouncements and when reports reached the ring that Senator Bankhead, of Alabama, had predicted a 12-cent loan announcement before the week-end the market advanced briskly. All active options shared in the upturn and for a time it appeared that the market oversold.
