Chicago Tribune, Monday, September 20, 1976 Section 3 SCHERENBERG Tours replacing booths at this year's EXPO Dramatics, Johnny Taylor, Roberta Flack, and Eddie Kendricks. OTHER FEATURES Include scheduled addresses by Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and Transportation Secretary William Coleman, workshops to be held in Kennedy-King College, 6800 S. Wentworth and a "pre-Expo" consisting of a parade and an entertainment program in Gary's West Side High School Auditorium Friday. Kissinger is to speak on America's Africa policy. His visit was arranged last month prior to the announcement of his latest peace mission to southern Africa.

He is scheduled to speak Sept. 30 during a day of seminars in Kennedy-King College. Coleman is to speak on Oct. 30 at a seminar for the business community. BUS TOURS OF Chicago's black business community are replacing the traditional hall exhibits in one of the major PUSH Expo changes this year.

Buses will leave three times daily from PUSH headquarters, 930 W. 50th between Sept. 27 and Oct. 1 for tours of black businesses. The business show had been a central feature from the start of the annual Expos seven years ago in the International Amphitheatre.

A PUSH spokesman said the change this year was because of PUSH'S financial problems and the fact many small black businesses can't afford to mount such exhibits. The amphitheatre will still be the scene of nightly entertainment programs by rock, pop, and gospel music personalities including The Spinners, Mandrill, GUMINSKI Frank Gumlnskl, beloved husband of Mary, nee Rostenkowski; dear father of Victor (Alice) Gordon and Irene (Chester) Puchalskl; grand-Mather of Janet (Thomas) Bamber, Patrick (Frencine) Puchalski and Gregory Gordon; great-grandfather of Rachel Puchalskl. (Jo Ann), NAPLES, Italy Reuters The archbishop of Naples announced Sunday that the city's patron saint has performed his regular miracle after failing to do so in May. Corrado Cardinal Ursi told 10,000 worshipers in Naples Cathedral that the supposed dried blood of Januari-us, a 4th Century saint, had liquefied.

The thrice-yearly miracle of the liquefaction of blood, kept in two phials in the cathedral, did not take place as it usually does in May, arousing fears among devout Neapolitans that disaster was imminent. Shortly afterwards an earthquake devastated the Friuli area of northeastern Italy, killing nearly 1,000 THE CARDINAL told his congregation Sunday that the saint failed to perform the miracle in May because the earthquake was coming and because conditions for the people of Naples bad deteriorated, with an increase in unemployment. Now, he said, the people can face the future with more confidence. The recurrence of the miracle appears to rebut suggestions that the saint refused to perform the miracle in May because he was angry with the city for electing a Communist mayor'. The failure of the blood to liquefy in 1S27 was followed by a plague; an outbreak of cholera struck in 1835, and Allied warplanes bombed the city in 1941.

As 100 newsmen rallied to celebrate the freeing of four Fresno Bee staffers after 15 days in jail for refusing to disclose a confidential source, the state bar of California passed a resolution praising the four's courage. The bar said the outcome of the case, in which the newsmen were freed Friday, "honored the principle that a free press is as necessary to effective delivery of justice as is a vigorous bar," Three attorneys who are delegates to the bar's annual convention here introduced the resolution, which passed Sunday in amended form by a 229-to-190 vote after half an hour's debate. THE RESOLUTION said, "The courage of the Fresno Four in declining to reveal their source of information on pain of imprisonment is commended by this conference." At the rally shortly before, the newsmenmanaging editor George Gruner, ombudsman James H. Bort and reporters William Patterson and Joe Rosa-to spoke briefly outside the building where the bar was meeting. Gruner told the rally that "we hope by our actions that we can make jurists throughout the nation aware of our journalistic ethic not to reveal confidential sources.

We appreciate the wide support we have received during this 21-month episode." The case, in which the four newsmen refused to tell how they obtained a secret grand jury transcript about alleged bribery, was carried to the United States Supreme Court. Superior Court Judge Hoilis Best said in releasing the four that evidence showed "there is an articulated moral principle in the news media" against disclosing sources.
