DOBELL. ARCHITECT--Office In th Hout Building, Suite 14 WHAT KIND OF MUX ARE YOU USING? The California Stat bulletin for September, 191. contains an account ot an experiment worth knowing about. Dr. G.

H. Hart, city veterinarian of Los Angeles found a dairy in Los Angeles which bad tuber culln tested its cows and divided its herd In to a tuberculosis-free herd and a tuberculosis herd. The milk ot tha tuberculous herd waa stored in vat. On set ot vats contained raw clarified milk and one pasteurised milk, all from turberco-losls cows. Twenty-tnur samples of raw milk were taxes from the first vat, during a period ot six month This milk was injected Into guinea pigs.

All but one of the guinea pig developed tuberculosis. Fourteen pigs were injected with milk from the second vat This milk had been clarified. Clarification con tiists in throwing out the gross dirt During tha same six months twen ly-thres guinea pigs were injected with pasteurized milk from a third vat None ot the guinea pigs developed tuberculosis or died from any cause whatsoever. This proves that clarification not only removes all the dirt, but 30 percent of the germs and that pasteurisation makes the milk absolutely sate. At the Corvallls dairy the milk Is not only clarified but it Is also pasteurized, the only milk sold in Cor vallls that Is so treated.

Many cities are passing pasteurisation ordinance Better be safe than sorry. We deliver milk or cream by the day or month. CORVALLLS DAIRY Lad. Phoat) 2471. 1- iperrratiery Service FREE INSPECTION Any Battery Any Make Any Time Witzig Electric Co.
