WHITE OR BRIGHT those seem to be the passwords to chic if it's KNITS you have in mind. Such easy to wear, easy to fit, costumes as those pictured here have already won high praise from busy American women, but this season please note that they can be selected for their look of luxury, too. Though it may sound madly extravagant all colors, even including WHITE, are practical now Man-made fibers and modern magic have made them MACHINE WASH LE.

Fitting problems and versatility of use are abetted when you choose two piecers, or a two piere PIUS jacket which covers an outfit appropriate for festive occasions. Royal Gun Teams to Compete At International Horse Shotv Ore of the highlights of this year's International Horse Show, to be held in Chicago Nov. 27 to Dec. 5, in conjunction v.ith the 60th International Live Stock Exposition, will be a thiill packed 10-minutc battle action of two British naval gun teams. Gun Teams, known as the "Muscle men of Her Majesty's 1 are rated the 50 toughest in the British Navy.

Their average age is 23. They perform under actual battle conditions in a spectacular of brawn, speed, and rnuscle- cracking action, dispatching tons of artillery guns across obstacles and chasms, simulating acrual English navy battles of the past. They attracted record-breaking crowds in perfoimances last summer at Earl's Court, London, and arc coming to Chicago in their first appearance in the United States. The Exposition will fill the 12-acrc International Arnplii- theatre at the Chicago Stock Yards and will be the largest this vear in its 60 year history. This is due, to the addition of the five dairy cattle breeds to its competitions foi the first time.
