Meeting at Li Ji iK ij WILE. 1967 BHING The Downey Ministerial Assn. has embarked on a program of theological education for itself. Over a period of three creeks it has heard speakers from as many faiths explain the tenets.of their belief, usually with ecumenical overtones.

"This difficulty has caused the Lord to establish an infallible teaching office in the earthly church." SUNDAY oft-debated practice of infant baptism, which some Protestant churches practice and others do not: "While God is the one who initiates and makes possible the salvation of man through faith in Christ, in a certain sense God makes possible a cooperation by man in the sal-vific process. "Infant baptism is evidence that the church considers salvation a free gift of God. The other six sacraments of the church (communion, penance, confirmation, matrimony, holy orders, and anointing the sick or extreme unction) follow baptism as tools which God uses to bring man successfully through life to Christian death." After answering many probing questions from his non-C a 1 i audience, Father Geary said he believes it is the Holy Spirit which today is drawing men of diverse beliefs closer together.
