Quarterback John Hadl plunged over from the one- foot line on fourth down to wipe out a 26-20 Houston lead midway in the final per iod to put the Chargers ahead to stay. Houston's fading veterans, who dropped their sixth straight game, looked like the Oilers of old for three and a half periods with quarterback George Blanda hitting Charlie Hennigan with touchdown passes of 10 and nine yards. Hadl Goes In Hadl's touchdown plunge came with 6:28 left in the game after Keith Lincoln had failed to make it from the one-yard line a play earlier.

Hadl accounted for another San Diego touchdown with a five yard pass to Lance Alworth in the second period. A 63-yard punt return by Leslie Duncan, a 13-yard run by Paul Lowe, and field goals of 32, 12 and 32 yards by Herb Travenio accounted for San Diego's other scores. Lowe picked up 90 yards in the game to give him 1,089 for the season, only 10 short of the league record set by Oakland's Clem Daniels in 1063. Lowe is also the first AFL player to gain 1,000 yards in two different sea- sons. End Drought The Chargers had scored a touchdown in the first quarter for the first time since the second game of the sea- when Duncan returned Jim Norton's long punt for a touchdown.

The Oilers made it a 7-2 game when Gary Cutsinger dropped Hadl in the end zone for a safetv, but the Delivery today of all makes listed here!
