The group's first RCA Victor, album, called Sour Cream and Other Delights," recently hit the market. It's a take-off on Herb Alpert's Tijuana Brass and includes several typical Alpert numbers.

Disc jockeys are beginning to give it a good play. It's a good gimmick. Jane Sager, trumpet player, leads the group. She started as a child prodigy on violin and soloed with the St. Louis Symphony, but an increasing love for jazz trumpet eventually supplanted her plans for a sympho-5 nic career.

She worked with Roy Eldridge, Zutty Singleton and Art Tatum and held jazz chairs with the. Charlie Barnett and Johnny Richards bands. Trombonist Naomi Preble toured vaudeville circuits as a child and after graduating from the Indianapolis College of Music was married to fellow trombonist Charlie Preble.
