URGES LICENSES BE TAKEN EARLY Safety Patrol Office to Be Open Evenings The Iowa State Safety patrol office, on the second floor of 15 2nd N. will be open Wednesday evening from 7 to 10 p. m. for the issuance of chauffeurs licenses for next year, according to Sgt Lou Krieger.

During the following 2 weeks, the office will be open evenings from 7 to 10 p. m. on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. The department hopes that chauffeurs will renew their licenses early this year and not wait until they are required to have them on Jan. 1.

Dr. A. W. McGuire will return to his dental practice next Monday after almost 4 years in the service, 21 months of which were spent overseas. His offices will be located on the 4th floor of the Foresters building.

Dr. McGuire, whose wife is the former Marice Campbell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. E.

Campbell, 717 Washington N. had practiced 4 in Emmetsburg before entering the army. He is a graduate of the Creighton university school cf dentistry, Omaha, Nebr. McGuire held the rank of captain when released from duty early in October.
