MASON CITY GLOBE-GAZETTE IETY EVENTS Miss Hazel Larson Weds Thomas Hinders at Hutchins Church HUTCHINS--Miss Hazel Clarice Larson, daughter of Mrs. C. J. Larson, and the late Mr. Larson, and Thomas G.

Hinders, son of Mr, and Mrs. Thomas Hinders of Bntt, were married Wednesday at the Upper Flat church northeast ol town by the pastor, the Rev. O. M. Johnson of Britt.

Miss Enolia Olson of Britt served as bridesmaid and Miss Clarice Johnson of Thor, maid of honor. The bridegroom's attendants were two brothers the bride, Norris Larson and Birdeen Larson. Jean Nelson was flower girl and Paul Johnson of Britt was ringbearer. The bride's brother, Leo Larson, and the bridegroom's brother, Milton Hinders of Britt, were ushers. Mrs.

Milburn Rydson of Biitt played the wedding inarch. Miss Clark: Johnson and Miss Alberta Matson and Mrs. Elmer Olson of Britt sang. A reception for the couple was held at the home of the bride's mother. Dining room hostesses were Mrs.

Louis Hanson of Lakota, Mrs. Elmer Olson of Brill and Mrs. Henry Anderson and Mrs. Hans Johnson of Hutchins. Waitresses were Miss Leila Hanson of Lakota, Mrs.

--o-Meyer- Wenthold Vows Are Said at Calmar CALMAR At the St. Mary's Catholic church at Festina the marriage of Miss Julia Wenthold, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Wenthold, to Alousius Meyer, son or Mr. and Mrs.

Adam Meyer of near Calmar, was performed Nov 14 by the Rev. A. J. Rubly. Miss Ruth Wenthold, sister of the bride, acted as maid of honor and Arnold Meyer attended his bother as best man.

Pour into a buttered, baking dish. "Dot" with butter and add the water. Cover with dough circles.

Uuugli Circles I cups flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 2 teaspoons granulated sugar teaspoon salt 5 tablespoons fat 1-3 cup milk Mix together the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Cut in the fat. Slowly add the milk. When a soft dough forms pat it out until one-quarter of an inch thick. Cut out circles with a doughnut cutter.

Arrange on top the fruits. Bake 30 minutes in a moderate oven. Serve warm or cold. Dried beans, cubed carrots, celery, onions, cabbage and parsley arc all good to use in minestrone. A generous amount of Parmesian cheese gives added flavor when sprinkled over the top.
