ft SLnyUs Ktmti Missing British Agent Turns Up-as Skeleton iwwux ine SKeieion During World War II Sir Peregrine was reputed to have worked as an agent with MI6, the British intelligence network. After the war he was in charge of the RAF police in Palestine and was actively engaged in security work. Several attempts were made on his life during this period. Although he retired officially in 1958, members of his family were never cer- tain whether he had actually ceased working for the British security sinated by agents of a Middle' East nation.
