SEALED PROPOSALS will be received at this office until Monday, the 8ih of September next, for supplying the cut Maible and Granite for the superstructure of the building of the new Custom House above the basement story, according to plans and specifications, which will be exhibited oo application to the Snperinlen dant, at this office. Specimens of the materials proposed must accompany the tenders.

The delivery must commence on or before ths lSthday of April, 1835, and the whole must be completed as soon as practicable therealter. Separate proposals will be received for sixteen Doric Columns, (with their capitals) in five blocks of six feel long each, 5 feet 8 niches diameter at base, and 4 feet 4 inches at top. Also, for sixteen Corinthian Columns, in three blocks or 6 feet 8 inches long each, with capitals and bases and also lor the capitals and bases for eight antae, to correspond. Separate proposals may be nude for the Corinthian Capitals and Bases, which must be of the finest American marble; add also for blue flagging, granite steps, and for marble or Potomac stone flagging, wrought to patterns as per plans.
