This institu ion occupies a large and cummodicru building eligibly situated mi the 8U1 avenue, in the neighbor' hood of the city of New York, in the centre of a four acre lot, converted into an ornamental, fruit and veaeta ble garden. In addition lo reading, writing, arithmetic, and the higher branches of education, the children are laught to weave, to make mats, mattrasses, baskets and the lemales to knit and to sew.
