CLARION WILL HAVE CONTEST Sub-District Music Competition to Be · March 30-3 1, April 1 , -- The sub-district school music contest will be held here March 30 and 31 and April 1 with 18 schools comoet- ing. They are: class A-- Eagle Grove and Webster City; Class B-- Belmond. Clarion, Dows and Hampton; Class C-- Alexander, Geneva, Goldfield, Goodell, Hansel), Kana- wJia, Klemme, Latimer, Plover Ren wick, Rowan and Sheffield. __The first session will be Thurs- day at 7:30 p. m.; the following sessions will be Friday, 9:15 a. m · 1:30 p. m. and 7:30 p. m.; Saturday 9:15 a. in., 1:30 p. m. and 7:30 p. m. Maytag estate here got a first hand taste o£ the nazi ban against removing money from Germany when a $1,200 bank account in the estate was found to be on deposit in a Hamburg, Germany, bank. The executors obtained a court order to assign the account to H. P.'
