Suspended Sentence of Charles City Man Is Revoked by Judge CHARLES CITY, Marcli 21--The suspended sentence of Chester Soheidegger, Charles City, wns revoked here Saturday by Judge C. H. Kellcy on a new liquor charge filed against Scheidcgger. A year ago Judge M. F. Edwards sentenced Scheidcgger to one year in the penitentiary and $100 fine for driving while intoxicated. The sentence wns suspended and he served out his fine i n ' the county jail. Sheriff B. F. Atherton will take Scheidegger to Fort Madison Monday. Arm Broken While Playing. UP) --A story of the alleged flight of Jean Dayle, young cabaret entertainer, formerly of Hampton, Iowa, from a hotel room in which Sam Frank, elderly jewelry auctioneer, was slain last Dec. 6, had been completed by the state today. The murder trial of the 21 year old singer was recessed until Monday after Mr. and Mrs. Peter Chido related she remained In their home three days after Frank was slain and t ' / t she was arrested there. Witnesses had told of seeing her leave the hotel, go to a garage and then to a restaurant, in which she used a telephone. FRANK FOSTER TO BE WITNESS Brothers Defense Plans to Call Owner of Fatal Pistol. CHICAGO, March 21. (/P)--A plan whereby the defense in Leo V. Brothers' trial for slaying Alfred Lingle, Tribune reporter, plans to call as a witness Frank Foster who is still, under technical indictment for Lingle's death, was revealed by attorneys for Brothers' defense today. Foster was arrested because the pistol with which Lingle wns killed last June 9, was found and identified as having at one time belonged to him. He is now at liberty under a $20,000 bond. With eight jurors sworn for service a night session was abandoned last night. Efforts to get the other four jurors will be resumed Monday. Premium on Iowa Bonds MONTEZUMA, March 21.
