Stilson, 78, Resident of Corwith for 53 Years, Buried CORWITH, April 18.--Funeral services for Mrs. O. H. Stilson, resident of Corwith for 53 years, were held at the Methodist church Tuesday afternoon, the Rev. 0. E. Schaal oficiating. Members of Paradise chapter No. 384. 0. E. S., of which Mrs. Stilson was a charter member, attended the services in a body. Born near Delhi. Dec. 2, 1855, she lived with her parents in Delhi until early womanhood when she weni to Forest City to keep house for an older hrother. It was there she was married to O. H. Stilson Oct. 2, 1881 They made their home in Corwith where Mr. Stilson operted a mcrcan tile business. Four children were born who with the husband, survive, Earnes Lyell of Gooding, Idaho, who wa. the first white boy born in Mago township: Mrs. Robert Burlingam of Hillsboro, Ore.. (Slipper}-) Elmer and Spencer, died of a bullet wound n a hospital here today. Trapped by deputy sheriffs here ast night, Stovall. crawled out of a taxlcab with a pistol in his hand md was met by a bullet through he head. Just a week before, a woman companion had screened him from am- ushcd officers' fire and he made his getaway as he had done many imes before. Elmer Green, captured nearby a : ew minutes later, was said by Dep- ity Sheriff George Kerr to have confessed that he and Stovall robbed a transcontinental bus near 'ort Worth last week. Kerr said Green also confessed that he and Stovall had kidnaped and robbed George B. Alexander, raveling salesman, near Fort Worth yesterday, using his automobile for the return trip to Oklahoma !ity. The automobile was bold by authorities. Stovall also was sought for the ibduction of several officers near Sioux City, Towa, last summer. In escaping custody. He had been arrested there for southwestern of- 'icers, and escaped on two occasions, once from a hospital and again through a bus window.
