\VEDNESDAY, MARCH 15, 1S39 MASON CITY GLOBE-GAZETTE SNELL, Mrs. George, 55, died at her home, 422 Sixth street southwest, at 1:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon following an illness. Funeral services will be held at the Major-Randall funeral home at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon, with the Hev. William Galbreth, associate pastor ol the First Methodist church, in charge. Burial will be at Plymouth cemetery. The Major- Handall funeral home in charge. Ross, 66, who started electrical experiments as a boy of 11 and pioneered public power development to become administrator of vast Bonneville dam and a trusted presidential power adviser. Convalescing from an operation performed several weeks ago Ross was stricken' in his hospital room at Rochester, Minn., Tuesday.
