If the label says "full shrunk" or "will-not shrink," the garment or yardage will not shrink. Partially shrunk garments when l a b e l e d are indicated by "shrunk," "pre-shrunk" or percentage both warp and filling will shrink. "Sanforized-shrunk" means shrinkage has bee reduced to not more than Vt inch per yard. In most cases-.if no label is present, the purchaser may assume the product has not been shrunk. "Color fast," a term used on some lebels, should tell under what conditions, the fabric is "fast." "Vat dye" denotes a class of dyestuffs which" produce some of the most permanent coloring tor cotton goods. "Color tested" implies that tests for color fastness have been made In keeping with the use for which the article is intended.
