Lime or Mint Gelatine Dessert Powder in 2 cups boiline water. When slightly thickened, stir in 1 cup 18K Crushed Pineapple, drained. 10 I:G.A. Marahallowa, culr finely, ana 1 cup chopped almonds. Chill in Individual molds. Serve on lettuce, with Mayonnaise which has been tinted with green food coloring. Sandwiches Trim crusts from loaf ot T.G.A. Bread. Cut In 4 or 5 slices lengthwise. Spread each slice with butter and filling made by combining" I.G.A. Mayonnaise with cream cheese, and tinting with green food coloring. Roll each sllco llko Jelly roll, wrap tightly with damp cloth and let stand in cold place for ah hour or longer. Slice In 'A-inch pieces for serving. ·" ' . Dessert ' Mix well together: 2 _ciipa 18K Crushed Pineapple, drained; SO I.G.A. Marahmallows, cut in pieces, and u. cup whipped cream. Turn Into individual molds or sherbet ' glasses and chill several hours. When serving, top with whipped cream which has been tinted with green food coloring. Serve with tiny cnkes or fancy shaped cookies leed ·with butter or boiled frosting tinted with green food coloring. HOME OWNED MASON CITY GLOBE-GAZETTE OMAHA PICKS UP SLAYER SUSPECT Molester of Small Girls Is Quizzed in Murder of Virginia Brooks. 'OKLAHOMA CITY, March 12. OP)--A man booked as Gerald Davidson was held today tiy police who said' they would ' question him in connection with the murder of Virginia Brooks, 10 year old San Diego, Cal., school girl. . Police chief Charles Brecker said the roan, about 5$' years old, had been arrested several times at Tulsa for Molesting small girls. His home, officers said, Is at Fresno, Cal. Officers said he went from Fresno to'Tulsa, about a week after the Brooks girl disappeared, Feb. The suspect was hrot here from Tulsa, where officers said ho had a bloody shirt in his possession. He claimed this was the result of' a motor-'car accident. 3n his baggage in a room which he occupied at Tulsa two days before his arrest, police found a ,silk slip, underwear and stockings of a small girl. MARION MAN KILLS SELF RATHER THAN FACE SANITY TEST CEDAR RAPIDS, March 12. ! --When Sheriff Joe Petrus went to the home of Joe Mitchell, 35, Marion, today to serve a warrant for Mitchell to appear before a sanity commission, he found Mitchell dead in the kitchen with all the jets of the gas stove open. Coroner R. A. VorphaT expressed the belief that Mitchell committed suicide rather than face the sanity test.
