Rowley, director of the experimental engineering laboratory at the University of Minnesota, advised Friday. First, he said, burn it in the furnace. Then take the cinders and build a "really warm" house. He declared that cinders when used in concrete blocks let through about one-third less cold (or heat) than ordinary sand and gravel blocks.
