NRA, CWA and PWA Printing Bill Passes [fflion Dollar Mark, Money for Printing Record Running Low Congress Stays on WASHINGTON, March 13. /P)-Congress today was given another reason for a quick adjournment of its present session--the money that turns out the congressional record is running low. Chairman Ludlow (t., Ind.) of a house appropriations committee asked George H. Carter, public printer, how the government printing office was running this year with reference to working capital. "We will run behind if congress keeps in session much longer," Carter replied. WASHINGTON,., March 13. The printing bill of the big three alphabetical recovery organizations-NRA, CWA and PWA--so far is estimated by government printing office officials at approximately ?!,* 300,000. J. K. Wallace, superintendent of: accounts, told a house committee during hearings made public toJay that the actual amount probably would be more than that. He explained there was no way actually to identify all such work because considerable amounts came on departmental requisitions not' charged directly against emergency organizations.
