Palmer Will Speak at Farmers' Night School NEW HAMPTON, March 8.-King R. Palmer, West Union, candidate for the republican nomination as fourth district congressman, will be the speaker at the banquet at the. Methodist church that will close the Fanners night school. The school 'ias been conducted by A. H. Bowman, New Hampton high school agricultural instructor. Mrs. Jasper Helm Rites Are Conducted at Osage OSAGE, March 8.--Funeral services for Mrs. Jasper Helm, xvho died Tuesday were held at the Shelley funeral home Thursday ia charge of the Rev. J. D. Kern. Mrs. Helm, 74, whose death followed pneumonia, had lived 67 years in Mitchell county. Her maiden name was Lottie Madison. Her husband, one sister and three brothers survive. Former Resident Dies. OSAGE, March 8.--Walter B. Sheldon received notice of the death of his sister Mrs. Morton Jennisoc, former .local resident, at Twin Falls, Idaho. Figures published in London show that Canadians made more telephone calls in 1932 than any other neople, averaging 223 calls each. The United States had 222 calls a person, while Britain had only 33.
