If you want to go to college looking like a walking advertisement for the smartest of the smart fashion magazines (and what girl doesn't?), brush up on new fall styles before you start collecting that autumn wardrobe. Be sure that every big and little thing you buy is fashion-right (and right for that very special face and figure of yours) then go ahead. This doesn't mean, of course, that you're going to have to spend a fortune on your clothes. Far from it. College girls' allowances, in this day and age, may not be what they once were, but that's no cause for grief today, when it's not what you spend but how you spend it, that counts. Any girl, with gray matter "enough to sail through math and languages and English themes certainly ought to be smart enough to figure out a knock-out of a wardrobe that won't murder her budget. Fashion is a fickle tiling, am! it's folly at this early date to attempt to predict all the styles that will be on top six months from now. Sufficient unto the day is the fashion thereof. So leave as much of your winter wardrobe buying as you possibly can until later. Another thing, if you choose your fall clothes like the clever little girl you are, you'll find yourself with a grand assortment of advance models that will look smart for a long, long time. And meanwhile they'll do big things to build up your reputation aa a compus "best-dressed. New- Color Gets Spotlight.
