Both "live," no film tricks. ' ,."I'm getting a big kick out of it, and I'm not auditioning for a nervous breakdown as some persons feared when I took on the West Coast job," the personable young MC explained. "The secret is relaxation and liking to fly'. I can sleep anywhere at the drop of a hat. I don't worrj about my work. And I'm a nut on flying. \ Pilots Plane "Matter of fact, I pilot a smal plane myself, .and I owned a seven plane charter air service until re cently. Had to seH it because I just didn't have time to give anj attention,^ the; business details. Cullen, a native of Pittsburgh Pa., considers that his week be gins on Wednesday. His first work is taping his "Walk A Mile" radio show for NBC. Getting throug} with that job ab,out 8 p. m., he ;oes to a CBS-TV studio for his appearance from 9:30 to 10 p. m. as a regular panel member on the 'I've Got A Secret" program. Then out to the airport. He's aloft 'at 12:30 a. m. Thursday, in a sleeper, headed for Los Angeles. It's an 11-hour trip; he arrives :here about 8 a. m. PST. Sleeps on Trips { , "Usually I've slept most of the trip," Cullen said. "But if I need more sleep I have until 2 p. m., Thursday, to catch up in the hotel room I maintain there. At 2 I have to go to CBS' Television City to work on the night's show, ''Place .the Face, 1 ,whieh I UC. The program is on the air for a half hour beginning at 7:30. After it's over, we spend a couple of hours kicking around ideas for .he following week. Then I go to the hotel to sleep." Cullen gets up:at 6 a. m. Friday, catches a 9 a. m. plane for New York and arrives here about 8:3( p. m. EST. Saturday is another working day He is "live" for four hours, 2 to 6 p. m., on NBC's ambitious "Roac Show" radio program. Sunday is completely my own,' : Cullen added. "Monday I do pre paratory work on 'Walk A Mile and Tuesday is a 'business day' in which I catch up on the little odds and ends of my life." FRENCH PLASTICS ROCHESTER, N.Y.
