She has a vocabulary of only 100 words, due to her inability to hear, and her mother is the only one who can understand her spoken words. But Miss Lamberton finds knowledge and success are not based on hearing' and speaking,- but on keenly observing. Fashions of the Fashionable HE'S HER -"HERO" NOW--He's her "hero" now, so why shouldn't she smile? 'He is Stephan Hero, one-time boy prodigy of Jose Iturbi', noted Spanish pianist and conductor. She is Iturbi's daughter, Maria Iturbi. They are honeymooning in New York following 8 surprise marriage.. He is 20, she is IS. Hero is making a name for himself as a violinist. NO WONDER SCHOOL CHILDREN WERE MAROONED--Some 300 school children and 14 teachers were marooned over night in the Staunton centralized school near Troy, 0., when heavy snows blocked highways and made passage impossible.
