Deadline For YMCA Banquet Reservations Extended To Friday The deadline for making reservations for the annual meeting and banquet of the Naugatuck YMCA has been extended until tomorrow nigh!, it was ' announced today by Herbert E. Brown, Y pen- era! secretary. All reservations'for the affair, to be held Monday evening starting at 6:45 o'clock in the 'XMCA, should be made at the YMCA desk. Mr. Brown also announced thnt Louis Bruemmer, of New Haven, state executive YMCA secretary, will be a guest Monday evening-. Mr. Bruemmer will bring the greetings of other YMCA's about the stale to the local organization. Members of he Alpha Tri-Hi-Y Club will serve at the banquet, Mr. Brown said. Hold Suspect In Slaying Of Child Galveston, Tex., Nov. 17—(UP)— Authorities in one southwest city are holding a suspect in the Icill- hig of six-year-old Linda Glucoft. And authorities in a cily a thousand miles away report the same suspect has turned up in their area. Police in Galveslon, Tex.,'have jailed a man until they can compare his fingerprints with tho.« of 66-year-old Fred Stroble of Los Angeles, wanted in the case.
