Obituary Henrietta Mouw Dowers, daughter of the late Edward nnd Edith Mouw, was born February 18, 190; on a farm near Bristol, Minnesota She was baptized In the Dutch Reformed Church at Qrecnlcafton. At an early age she moved with her parents to a farm near Lime Springs. She attended the schools of the community and graduated from the Lime Springs High School with the class of 1921.

As a young girl, she Joined the Methodist Church ot Lime Springs and remained an active member Henrietta prepared herself for the teaching profession by attending Cedar Falls nnd Upper Iowa colleges. After completing her education, she taught In many rural communities and for the last seven years had taught In the Lime Springs Public Schools. She had a total teaching service of 19 years, altho not consecutive yean Her students both ptesent and past at by the Rev Rlcftard Prcscott To this union were born two daughters, Sheryll Esther and Kar- cen Annette. Her home nnd her family were her pride and Joy. She leaves to mourn her parsing besides her husband and daughters, four sisters and a brother, also a host of relatives and friends.
