I , ; Other Speakers More than 1000 members and guests of the Institute were present in the Grand Ballroom of the Edgewater Beach Hotel for the program which opened the five-day convention. ; Luckman, who is president of the Los Angeles and New York architectural-! planning-engineering firm of Pereira & Luckman, told the audience that "The Sky Was the Limit" for their revolutionary new construction techniques and products. Other speakers who participated in" the convention were Professor James R. Hawkinson of Northwestern University and Ralph E. Knight, vice-president of Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corp. Greetings from Chicago to the PCI members were ex pressed by George DeMent, Commissioner, Public Works, for Mayor Richard J. Daley.
