Wife Slayer Sentenced to Prison Term Anthony Frye, 46-year-old aircraft worker, yesterday was sentenced to prison for five years to life for tha June 16 murder of his wife, Florence, 29. Mrs.

Frye was killed with multiple hammer blows over the head in the climax to a row about Frye getting up too late to report to his job. Frye said he was in a vile mood when his wife routed him from bed after returning from her own night-shift job. He said that after drinking some vodka' with orange juice chaser, he ordered his pregnant wife to prepare breakfast. When she "attacked" him, he! beat her to death with a hammer. The tragedy occurred in their home at 13625 Yukon Hawthorne.

Frye, who went to trial without a jury, had been found guilty of second-degree murder by Superior Judge Clement D.
