Among those who spent a few daya in the northern city were Lynn C. Buxton, distributor of the Haynes line here, and George Vf. Franklin, Mr.

Buxton's manager of sales. Both men praised very highly the appearance of the Civic Auditorium In San Francisco where the show was held, and also the high class of exhibits prepared by the dealers. "Both Mr. Franklin and myself have attended a good many of the national shows In the past, and each succeeding one we thought the best, but San Francisco cer-teinly did herself proud this year on her show." said Buxton. "However, we are well satisfied with Southern California and the business we are doing here.

The Haynes. in both 55 and 75 models has taken wonderfully well here and since taking over the distributorship last fall it has been on the constant Increase. Templar Motor Prices Get an Upward Boost. One of the principal reason for the organization of direct Paige factory branches In California, It la learned.

1s the desire on the part of the manufacturers to render the most proficient possible service to Paige owners. In fact, acting upon the theory, long propounded but seldom emphasized, that the satisfied motorist is the best argument In favor of any car, the Paige people have become leaders In the now nationwide movement to better the service to the car owner. And It is the consensus that the direct factory branch la the most efficient means of attaining this Improvement. Since the organization of the Paige Company of Northern California and the Paige Company of Southern California the perfection of Paige facilities or owner service in this State has advanced with surprising rapidity. That the goal set In this regard may be reached with the least delay and Paige Interests receive unanimous attention from dealer organizations the two factory branches are working hand in hand In the solution of mutual problems.

Only last week J. M. Sterling, general manager, A. V. Neff, territory manager, and J.

O. V. Clark, retail sales manager of the local factory branch, held important conferences with officials of the Paige Company of Northern California at San Francisco, with the end in view of perfecting plans for the service and sales campaign In this State during the coming months. Evidence of the good faith of these Intentions to serve the Paige owner in the best pos-Higle manner is found In the fact that the local factory branch recently completed a commodious addition to their building here, which is occupied solely by the service and parts department. PLANNING NOW FOR SUMMER VACATIONS.

Roesch Is highly enthused over the showing which the Alemite display registered in the accessory division at the northern and eastern shows. While in Chicago, Roesch attended a conference of Alemite officials and incidentally visited the big automobile show held in the Coliseum there. "Alemite products," says Roesch after his arrival here, "are becoming more popular every season. Take, for Instance, the Alemite high pressure lubricating system.
