When the eyes of a stricken dog are bathed in the fluid each hour for a forty-eight-hour period, almost complete re lief is effected, according to Murphy. Complete curing of the animal's eyes is accomplished over a month's period with the milk treatment. Murphy states. Remembering the use his father, Michael Murphy, former athletic director at Yale, had used to alleviate eye strain, Murphy determined to try the milk cure for his pet.

The treatment proved effective and Dooly can see perfectly now.
