'When Producer Lucien Hubbard requested Henry to return to the studio immediately, he turned thumbs down, but changed his mind when he was informed that all he would have to do in the new part was to lie in bed in a hospital cot.

The picture is "Ambulance Call," and his role is that of a patient who had just undergone an emergency appendix operation. Duck soup, says Henry, to earn money while recuperating. Interest is keenly concentrated on both, and the emotional depths are plumbed in the unfoldment especially of the almost epic drama of the Negro race. For primarily this picture concerns the tragedy of one who is born white, and who is of colored parentage. WOMEN'S FILM There was sufficient testimony of tears last night to prove that "Imitation of Life" will be the joy of its women audiences.

Attachment between a servant and her mistress is delicately and humanly stressed in the narrative, which covers much of a lifetime.
