Other top administrators and their annual salaries are: Kenneth Ashby, director of purchasing, Ray Bemauer, director of planning and community services, Es Carey, business manager, Joan Chambers, administrative director for pupil services, Richard Dunn, director of special education, Martin DeRodeff, director of data processing, Dan Foster, director.of state and federal programs, Doug Kretz, director of fiscal services, Shirley Larson, director of food services, Elizabeth McCandless, director of child development, $24,675.

Eight other district administrators and their salaries are Henry Nicolini, administrative director for elementary education, Eleanor Parker, director of classified personnel $22125- Doug Pimentel, director, of instructional Wayne Sorenson, administrative director for research and federal programs, Ron Souza, coordinator of bilingual and multi-cultural education, Bill Tarr, director of maintenance and operations, Joel Thornley, administrative director for secondary education, $26,025, and Jack Weinstein, director of certificated personnel, $27,125. Elementary principals are salaried between $17925 and $22,325. Junior high principals receive between $18,600 and $23,000. High school principals have a salary range of $21,025 and $25,425. Leo Crpce receives $37,310 and supervises a district of 14,551 students, the fall enrollment projection, and 1,081 employes. The district's other top administrators and their annual salaries are: Justin Bardellini, assistant superintendent for educational services, Rudolph D'Ambra, director of facility management, Bruce Jamieson, assistant superintendent for business services, Richard Jenkins, direc- tor of pupil services, James McCarty, principal of adult education, Lee Thompson, director of' secondary education, and John Waggoner, director of elementary education, $30,319. Salary ranges for elementary principals are $20,812 to $24,547. Intermediate school principals receive $21,879 to $25,615. High School principals receive $23,480 to $27,216.

SAN LORENZO: San Lorenzo SupfWiUiam Dolph makes $35,190. He administers a district, of 11,094 students, 563 teachers and 486 part and full-time non-teaching employes. Other top administrators and their salaries include Jackson Dickson, director of pupil personnel services, Gordon Fake, director of elementary education and.com- pensatory education, Peter Lamb, director of secondary education, Frank Martella, 'director of certificated personnel, $25,230, and Mervin Moran, business manager, $25,230. Salary ranges for principals are $19.405 to $24.222 for elementary $20.505 to $25.322 for junior high schools; and $22.432 to $27,249 for senior high schools. SAN LEANDRO Schools Supt. L. Edward Holden makes $34.251 annually for administering a district of 7.760 students and 471 teaching and 395 non-teaching employes.

CASTRO VALLEY Schools Supt. Harold DePue is paid $33,150 annually. He acU ministers a district of 6,559 students. 353 teaching and 271 non-teaching employes. Top administrators and their salaries include Francis Ebert, deputy -superintendent, Ed Gorski, business manager, Dale Lambert, director of certificated personnel, continuing education and opportunities school, -Marvin Smith, director of adult and summer, schools, Maebell Moffit, director of ckzsied personnel, and Mary Jackson, director of food services, $18.304.

Kindergarten and junior high principals 'receive in the range of $19,590 to $25.076 annually and senior high.school principals receive in the range of $21.095 to $27,003 annually. LIVERMORE VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICTS: The Amador Joint Union High School District, with a projected enrollment of 5,264 students, and the Pleasantbn Joint Elementary School District, with a projected enrollment of 5.291 students, share the same administration and district office staff. The administrative staff and annual salaries include: Supt. Bruce Newlin. Douglas Rose, assistant superintendent for business services.

Neil Sweeney, direcassis- tant superintendent for education, $29.170: Carl Krause. assistant superintendent for certificated personnel, $29.170: and David Carlisle, director and development, $28. 309. Annual salary ranges for principals include $21125 to $25,678 for elementary, schools; $22.181 to $26.962 for middle schools; and $23.290 to $28.309 for high schools. There are 345 teachers in the Amador district and 296 teachers in the Pleasanton district.

There are 177 non-teaching 'employes in the Amador district'and 203 non-teaching employes in the Pleasanton district. In the Murray Elementary School District, which is in Dublin, Supt. Donald Williams receives an annual salary of $33.000 and administers a district with 5,300 students, 285 teaching and 133 full and part-time non- teaching employes. William Gorier, associate superintendent, receives $28,000. The principals' salary ranges are $20,796 to $25,740.

There are also two small elementary school districts in South County. Robert Sharpe, principal" and teacher at the small Mountain House Elementary School District classroom, is salaried at $13,100 annually. According to Wilcken Fox, educational services assistant to Alameda County Schools Supt, Rock La Fleche, small school districts have a principal, rather than a as, the district's chief administrator. The superintendent of the Sunol Glen Elementary School District, George Bury, has a 1976-77 $22,890. ALAMEDA COUNTY SCHOOL DEPARTMENT: The salaries of top administrators in the county schools office are similar to those- of administrators in individual districts.

Logan High pool to close to some UNION CITY --The James Logan High School swimming pool will be closed through at least next week to leisure swimmers and swim-to-live programs. The reason, according to Union City and New Haven i i a ministrators, is the replacement of high school roof, which causes debris in and around the pool area. This summer a new roof is being placed on the entire high school and portions of the old.roof are being removed.

Some debris from the removal and replacement process on a portion of the roof near the pool irritated children, whose parents who contacted the city's staff. The city operates the swim programs. The school district owns the pool. The city and school district contacted the, county health department, according to New Haven Asst Supt. Ellis Teel.

Teel said that health department advised both local agencies that the pool should be closed until workers complete the portion of the roof nearest to the pool area. The pool was closed for a couple of days this week, Teel said, and will be closed through at least next week. Summer school students who have morning swim classes have been given their choices of other types of activities. Summer school classes will be completed hi a couple of weeks and then, Teel said, "we will give the pool over to the city as soon as possible." Union City Leisure Service's Director, Bill May said that the closing of the pool next week means that 300 children will not be able to participate in swim-to-life swim-to-live programs. Israel beauty Miss Universe HONG KONG (UPI) Twenty-year-old Rina Messinger of Israel was crowned Miss Universe 1976 last night amid the tightest security in the history of the world's largest beauty contest.

The brown-haired, blueeyed Miss Israel broke into tears as Miss Universe 1975, Anne Marie Pohtamo of Finland, placed the glittering crown upon her head and she was led to her golden throne. A pageant official, commenting on Miss Israel's victory over 71 other beauty queens, said "it is going to be a monumental security problem all He did not elaborate.
