Wilson was convicted in 1990 of dealing in cocaine but got probation. In 1991 he was allowed to remain on probation and undergo addiction treatment despite five urine tests that found evidence of cocaine use. But Tuesday, Jefferson Circuit Judge Ellen Ewing sent Wilson to prison based on new violations of his probation.

Noting that Wilson had failed another drug test, had missed a meeting with his probation officer and had not paid court-ordered restitution, Ewing said she could not let Wilson go free again. The 37-year-old Wilson pleaded guilty to cocaine trafficking and possession in July 1990 and was put on probation for five years after serving a month in a work-release center. Mike Clark, a probation officer, said Wilson tested clean in March and April, but Wilson has paid just $49 of the $365 he was supposed to pay back to the narcotics unit whose officer had bought cocaine from him. Wilson, who starred with the Cardinals in the late 1970s, also played briefly as a pro for the Atlanta Hawks and later for the defunct Louisville Catbirds of the Continental Basketball Association. He joined the Jefferson County Sheriffs Department in 1986 and resigned in 1990 after the drug charges came to light Seagrams Canadian Club 80 750 ml 7 i UUUIGia Cold All Flavors $99 99 Mirholnti Mishnlnh llllellGIUU, IIHbllGIUU Ml Premium Classic Wines Liter All Flavors 8 n.
